We have been, for the most part, snowed in for a solid week now. After the guys spent all day yesterday shovels in hand, we were able to get out for a pleasant dinner.

So, I have spent much of that time in pajamas, sick & miserable and fighting off the Cabin Fever.

However, they have all been snuggly, vintage or vintage-sytled flannels. It was way too cold for anything else.

Today's wardrobe does not bear examination!

However...yesterday I wore a pale pink cashmere sweater (short sleeves) with a mink collar/a navy wool skirt, embroidered in pink, yellow, and pale blue/navy tights (cable pattern), pink stilettos, and ivory earrings in the shape of roses.

Ha! Well, my last post still stands. The weather has been wretched on the East coast and so has my wardrobe!

But, in the spirit of keeping it going, here goes:

ancient, probably vintage, navy blue sweat pants. (I have a photo of Marilyn in some, so I'm counting them as "acceptable.")

also ancient, my brother's Coast Guard sweat shirt from basic training PT. I like it because it's a cool military logo, in red/white/blue. Plus, it's large and warm.

hair, OY. Red banana worn 40s style to hide it and protect it from the dirt and dust stirring while I do the heavy cleaning today.
