                     How cool to see so many neighbors here. We broke a heat record here yesterday. It was 103 degrees at the animal park. Looks like the pool and lots of pina colada's are going to be staples this year. Oh yeah, a cabana boy would be nice too, and a cabana girl for all you guys.

I am originally from New York but spent a good many years in viva Las Vegas. I came to San Diego about 15 years ago. I love the weather but man the cost of living out here is outragious. I guess that's why we pay sun tax.

                     On monday I got in my car to go pick up the wee little one from school and the temp thingy in my car said 113.
I almost had a heart attack.
Once I got moving, it went down to about 107, which sounds about right. Yesterday.. maybe 105.

I'd forgotten why we'd moved from this 'burb when I was younger.

I miss the beach terribly.

                     Hey Cori   :shock: eeeeeeeeeeek... me dance, swing, salsa         I would certainly give everyone a huge bunch of gigles! Nope i have two left feet when it comes to swing or salsa.
I had Ted Waterhouse and one of his pals play at my B-day this past summer and had people try to teach me even the simplest of moves, and it was sooooo bad, and I had not even been drinking yet!
But I love to watch it, and I love the music...Thanks for the invite just the same!

                     Don't get me started on fuel...if these rates keep going up, I'm pulling an Interstate '76 and mounting guns on my car so I can take other drivers down and siphon off their fuel!

But ahhhh, nothing like a lightweight Hawaiian shirt in the middle of May with the wind picking at you as you walk around outdoors.
