I have recently been allowed to have a 1940's dresser/writing desk/bureau in my room! it was my grandma's and we got it after she died. unfortunately, there are no doors on the thing (one section of glass got smashed, and we gave it to a glaziers to fix, but we never saw it again), and we took the other one off as when we moved the other door broke :cry: ) but anyway, it's really nice, and i've been given the job of restoring the shine and polishing it! i'll try and post a picture of it soon, or of one like it, because i need to share it with the world!
