AOL

                     Hi TMBC,
Anyone ever mention any issues with accessing PH using AOL?  Usually I am on a T1.  (Can you say borrow throughput?)  However, at home, usually on AOL using IE.  But, today I got lazy and put PH straight into the AOL browser.  Clicked on Pulp, got the password page, got sent to the index.  Clicked Pulp again, same thing.  Clicked Anything Goes, same, password then index.

Opened up IE and no issues.

Don't have time to close, restart, etc. tonight.  I can test it further tomorrow.  Just wondered if this is a known thing or just a fluke.

Nys.

Re: AOL

The cafe is just wonky, but this is the first time someone has localized a problem.  Is AOL using ther Mozilla engine?  I wonder if the same problems exist with Netscape.

Anyway, any testing you can do would be appreciated.  The Port Halcyon test lab is not equipped to handle such things.

Re: AOL

TMBC, don't have any problems on Netscape.  I use it exclusively, and I've been pulling the site up without wonkiness, pretty much no wonkiness, since you guys moved.

Re: AOL

Wow, that's awesome!  I'm about 98% wonky-free using IE6.26, but computer are very unpredictable.

<Sound of forehead slap> What do I tell my users? Best whine: But, Frrriends was on...

TMBC,
It's all good.  I should have rebooted.  The miracle cure-all.  Sprinkled a little magic pixie dust on it and it's fine.
I like your new catch phrase.  So, after a certain number of posts will our community folks be labelled "98% wonky-free"?  Is that like "99 44/100% pure"?

Re: AOL

I'll let you in on another secret TMBC, the colour scheme for PH on Netscape is PERFECT!  Not too yellow, not too bright, very Miami Art Deco.  I suggest everyone leave the domain of Little Bill and come on over to my house.  AOL is slow, MSN is brash and abrupt, but good old Netscape, even if it is discontinued, on its last legs and bastardized to the hilt, has a certain dignified demeanor, like a stately old gentleman fallen on hard times.  I love the old lighthouse keeper.
