Re: Favorite Dance? I'm not a fan of the Shim Sham, but only because I don't care for memorizing patterns. To me, dance is about reaction and interpretation to music, not just synchrony and memorization.

Every now and then at the Ashkenaz in Berkeley or at the Dog House on Mission- a good shim shamming will take place towards the end of the night. It really just depends on somebody initiating it! |
