The Bubbler Posts: 17	Okay, who's the bright spark.............:( ..............that decided to remake 'Flight of the Phoenix'? For crying out loud, can't the film studios come up with something original for once?! The original film had a sterling cast, and the plot had one of the best twists in disaster movie history. Now they've probably gone and smothered it all in CGI. ArggghhhH! :evil:

I have a review copy at home, but since Warner's has already sent me all those great screwball reissues (Bringing Up Baby, Philadelphia Story, Libeled Lady, etc.) it hasn't been watched yet.

I thought the Phildelphia Story held up well. Actually, the 56 remake of the 40 original (if I have those right...) was the first time I got a hint at why Sinatra was a star. Until then, it escaped me.
