Re: Save Bugs Bunny and Friends! The Bugs Bunny revamp was going to be called Buzz Bunny. But then it was pointed out that that is also a product name for a marital aid.

Re: Save Bugs Bunny and Friends! This wouldn't even be happening if the original characters were still on TV. BTW, what the hell ever happened to Saturday morning cartoons? They have decorating shows on Saturdays now. Stupid yuppies and their crap... |

Re: Save Bugs Bunny and Friends!
There are still cartoons on Saturday mornings! The difference now is that you dont have to wake up at 6am to catch them because they're also on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.. trust me, I know from experience...RugRats is the stupidest cartoon on by the way! No, not just ON but EVER. Bah! Bring Back Bugs!!! Kids these days! They are SO SPOILED!!!

Re: Save Bugs Bunny and Friends! What in the heck. Warner Bros. has lost it's mind or something. I wish i had Boomerang so I could watch to old Looney Tunes. Even new Looney Tunes would be all right if they were some sort of weird scifi "look kids it's kind of like anime" rubbish. |

Re: Save Bugs Bunny and Friends!
From what I remember, cartoons would start around 8am and play on until 1pm, usually concluding with more live-action stuff, like Fat Albert and a thing called Jason From Star Command. I'm talking around 1979 or so. The cartoon lineups used to get a full-page spread in the comic books of the day and sometimes even a primetime special on a Friday night to give kids a preview of what was debuting that season. Of course, I might as well be talking about the scrap-iron drives and victory gardens my grandparents told me about, as the cartoon set ups of yesteryear are as obsolete as your Uncle Ronnie's Commodore 64... And so what if they're on 24/7? The cartoons sure don't feature anything I want to see. Where the hell are the cartoon legends?!? Bugs Bunny, Popeye and what the hell ever happened to Heckle and Jeckle?!? Or Mighty Mouse?!? Popeye, we hardly knew ye... I have that new-fangled "Digital" cable and I can't find Bugs or even the sort-of-classic Johnny Bravo anymore. Don't get Boomerang or whatever it's called, so I guess I'd better go out and buy the DVDs. Heckle and Jeckle!!! |

Re: Save Bugs Bunny and Friends! I am just horrified at this!!!!!!!! One of my most treasured memories is watching Sat. a.m. cartoons with my brother. He knew most all of the lines to any of the Looney Tunes and would have me laughing like a lunatic. I really wish Saturday mornings were like they used to be.

Re: Save Bugs Bunny and Friends! I signed the petition and will pass the link to all that I know! I for one LOVE Boomerang, as the last place to watch the classics!
