Re: Favorite Vintage Animation I'm a huge fan of classic cartoons! Always have, always will (I'm a regular at this forum) . I'm especially fond of the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, particularly the more topical ones like:

Re: Favorite Vintage Animation
Hooray, I must get over there and check it out! Yeah I started out with that name, but when I came back I couldn't find it, and didn't have the email address anymore so I couldn't get the password.. so heck I decided to just use the name I used on my LJ at the time. I have this thing about Feral Children, so it works for me.
As a kid, I loved this cartoon even though for some reason the Gremlin creeped me out. And really, nothing creeped me out as a kid. I love that the plane runs out of gas just before crashing. heh. <div class='bbimg'> </div>

Re: Favorite Vintage Animation Don't get me started, I could go on all day on this subject... I was in the first wave of cartoon appreciation collectors/educators, and I started collecting cartoons *on film* back in the early 70s! Some faves...

Re: Favorite Vintage AnimationOn a related note, lately I've been listening to the 40s on XM, instead the 50s. Ealier I caught the 'Looney Tunes' theme. I never knew it had a title, other than the 'theme...' I bet a lot of you already know this, but for those of you who don't, it's called 'The Merry0Go-Round Broke Down.' I heard it performed by Russ Morgan. I know others have done it, too Such a catchy song!!! :stooges: |
