No real "boogie" here, but Mr. Boogie salutes our brave with Wink Martindale’s “Deck of Cards” (1959) and Fess Parker dawns the coon skin cap as “Davey Crockett”. Boogie finds Jimmy Dean saluting JFK with “P.T. 109” (1962) and the Shirelles million seller “Soldier Boy” (1961) and Elvis’ “An American Trilogy” (1972) and finally Red Skelton’s “Pledge of Allegiance” (1969) to wind out the show.
