Being a Steve Tyrell fan, I eagerly slipped this disc in my player when I got it. I was not disappointed. Tyrell puts his own spin on some fine old-fashioned classic carols, and seems to have fun doing it.

The arrangements on this disc are as good as Steve's previous outings, and the production is tight. It's great to hear jazz trumpeter Clark Terry lending his prowess, and the rest of the backing band is excellent as usual. The song selection flows beautifully, and the title track is destined to become a staple on Christmas radio shows.

If you are looking for a disc that will hold up side-by-side with your tried and true Christmas classics, then this is the one. Grab this CD, mix a few seasonal cocktails, and get ready for some holiday cheer.
