Sony Holland is singing a love letter to San Francisco. Her sophomore CD, On a San Francisco High, features Sony's breezy and assured vocals and is backed by her own capable jazz combo, led by pianist and arranger Dennis Burnside.

Originally from Minnesota, Holland relocated to the bay area in 2003 and quickly gained a following singing and selling CDs on the streets of Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, and Pier 39 to both locals and tourists. She has since added club dates and a tour of Asia to her busy itinerary.

The 11 original songs feature glimpses into the ups and downs of day to day living and daydreaming in San Francisco that we can all relate to. Though a relative newcomer, Sony Holland is name to watch and a voice to listen to.
